Bringing New Urbanism to an important North Bay community...

Located just off of Interstate 80 in booming Solano County, the acreage within Vacaville's Lagoon Valley has long been eyed by developers. In late 2001 Triad entered the game. Triad has spared no expense in forming a project team comprised of the most innovative and respected land-use planners, landscape architects, golf course designers, architects, and homebuilders in California. There is little doubt that within the next decade, the Triad development at Lagoon Valley will become one of the crown jewels of Solano County and a powerful economic engine for the City of Vacaville.

Lagoon Valley will be a sustainable community of 850 executive homes, 75 affordable housing units and 100 senior residences. Lagoon Valley features a mixed-use Town Center adjoining the Village Green, a Tom Kite championship golf course, a spectacular swim, tennis and fitness facility, a 700,000 square foot Business Village requiring "green" architectural design and transit systems management. In addition, Triad has made every effort to provide a serene environment and preserve existing green space and natural habitats; providing a community garden, pedestrian friendly New Urbanism designs prioritizing pedestrian connections and traffic calming design.

It will have over 70 acres of newly created wildlife habitat, an additional 71 acres of new park land added to an adjoining 388 acre city park, over 1800 acres of surrounding open space while preserving an additional 1400 acres of at-risk prime farm lands adjoining the city limits. Furthermore, Lagoon Valley will have 100% privately funded infrastructure, maintenance, and public safety costs, resulting in a net $2,000,000 annually into the city's general fund for social programs that will benefit the citizens of Vacaville.
